According to Judicial Watch, the terrorist group ISIS has two training camps in Mexico, just eight miles from the U.S. Border. This data indicates  that the fight with ISIS is closer to the U.S. than previously thought.

Judicial Watch had earlier reported that Islamic terrorists had been captured in Texas after coming across the U.S. Border from Mexico. Sources within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is reported as saying several ISIS terror group members were arrested by federal authorities and the Texas Department of Public Safety in McAllen and Pharr.

A Mexican field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector say the terrorist group’s base camp is located west of Juarez – just across the border from El Paso, Texas – in an area known as “Anapra” in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The area is extremely dangerous for the Mexican Army and for Federal police because it is controlled by a drug cartel. A second ISIS cell is also west of Juarez but in Puerto Palomas; for easy access into the U.S. this cell has targeted Columbus and Deming, New Mexico.

The Mexican sources also state that “coyotes” (human traffickers) for the drug cartels are smuggling ISIS terrorists into the U.S. through the border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas because of the understaffed police forces. Mexican cartels and Islamic terrorists are in business exchanging access to drug smuggling routes for large sums of money. Sources also reported that ISIS plans to make use of railways and airport facilities near Santa Teresa, NM (a U.S. port-of-entry) and has “spotters” to assist with terrorist border crossing operations.

Documents in Arabic and Urdu, “plans” of Fort Bliss, and Muslim prayer rugs were recovered during a joint Mexican Army and Federal Law Enforcement operation in early April. Fort Bliss houses the U.S. Army’s 1st Armored Division.

Top Right News reported that DHS documents confirmed that over 300 terrorists from Somalia have crossed the U.S. border and remain “unaccounted for”. Representative Duncan Hunter says to protect Americans from ISIS, the southern border needs to be secured. “It’s that simple,” he said. “ISIS doesn’t have a navy, they don’t have an air force, they don’t have nuclear weapons. The only way that ISIS is going to harm Americans is by coming through the southern border – which they already have.”
