Teen Sneaks Past New $40 Million World Trade Center Security System

A 16-year-old boy recently Tweeted images proving that he easily bypassed the $40 Million World Trade Center security.

Justin Casquejo crawled through a hole in the “Ground Zero” fence around 4 am Sunday. He used a crane to get a lift up the tower from an elevator operator who let him up, even though he had no ID.

Once on the 88th floor Casquejo hiked the stairs to the 104th floor. There he found a guard assigned to protect the top sound asleep.

Casquejo was arrested at 6 am Sunday and charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing, according to Joe Pentangelo, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

“We take security and these types of infractions very seriously and will prosecute violators,” Joe Dunne, who is the chief security officer for the Port Authority, stated.

“We continue to reassess our security posture at the site and are constantly working to make this site as secure as possible.”
